Introduction

With the strong support from Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Sports, Tianjin Industrial and Information Technology Bureau and some other organizations, the competition brand “International Intelligent Sports Congress” founded by Tianjin Intelligent Sports Association, with independent intellectual property rights, has become an important event of the WIE. Since the First International Intelligent Sports Congress was held in the 3rd WIC in 2019, it has been successfully held for five sessions. More than 130 delegations from 20 provinces and municipalities at home and over 30 other countries and regions around the world have participated in the competition, completing 13 events in six categories with more than 100 million people attending both online and offline competition activities. The competition plays a leading and demonstrative role in the application of AI in the sports field. 

The design philosophy of the 6th International Intelligent Sports Congress is based on the successful experience in the previous five sessions, with a view to innovating the contents and improving the quality of the competition. First of all, the “Intelligent Cycling Race” will be upgraded in scale and quality. It has attracted nearly 20 bicycle enterprises to participating in its organization. Second, the “Honor of King” (HOK) Elite School Competition will be initiated, to which Peking University, Nankai University and other prestigious Chinese universities will be invited. Third, the 1st innovative Open Virtual Drone Racing will be held and professionals and masters from home and broad will be extensively invited to the competition. Fourth, intelligent sports products exhibitions and experience activities will also be held simultaneously during the congress to allow more citizens to participate, creating a good social atmosphere for the market-oriented commercialization of intelligent sports projects and the inclusion of intelligent sports in the Olympics Games.

Introduction to e-Sports

e-Sports is based on e-Sports games, information technology as the core of the software and hardware equipment as a tool, in the virtual environment created by information technology, under the protection of the unified competition rules for the fair conduct of confrontational e-Sports game competitions, through the combination of intellectual and physical competition between people, you can exercise and improve the participants' ability to think, reaction, limb co-ordination and willpower, to develop team spirit, and to improve their ability to think. Cultivate team spirit. With the continuous application of artificial intelligence in the field of sports, as well as the International Olympic Committee accelerating the pace of independently organising the ‘e-Sports Olympics’, e-Sports is showing its unique charm.

The ‘King of Glory Elite School Competition’ will invite six famous schools in China, including Peking University and Nankai University, to participate in the competition.

Drone Virtual Racing

Drone virtual race is with the help of virtual reality technology, aircraft control condensed in the desktop computer, and then with the help of VR glasses, remote control, flight simulation cabin, implantable virtual race scene and other equipment, to form a realistic flight feeling.

This competition is the city's first all-virtual drone speed traversing competition, the use of professional flight software, VR glasses and individually designed virtual track scene for competition, to invite domestic and foreign experts to participate.

Virtual Cycling

Virtual Cycling is the use of big data, the Internet and sensors and other intelligent means, through the simulation of a variety of different scenarios, so that cyclists in a variety of simulation environment to experience immersive and real feelings, on the basis of which through the stimulation of virtual reality technology, so that cycling experience the cycling experience of the same fun as outdoor sports, for fitness sports to add more choices.

The competition intends to set up open group, enterprise group, college students group and international group competitions, as well as public experience and other activities.

Drone Football

Drone football is a combination of science and technology and sports, a new sport, both players through the radio remote control way to control the spherical drone football in the special stadium flight movement, in order to cross the opponent's side of the ring goal as a scoring goal, mutual attack and defence of each game is limited to 3 minutes, the party with the most goals to win.

Drone football is a new highlight and a major event added to the Fifth International Intelligent Sports Congress.

This time, the drone football as a display of interactive projects, through interactive experience, so that more drone enthusiasts to understand and participate in this sport.

Hado Sport

HADO Athletics is a sport that combines Augmented Reality (AR) technology and eSports. 3-player teams, 4 skills, 5 block strengths, and 10 skill points, participants, while wearing special equipment, control virtual energy balls and energy shields through gesture movements to engage in offensive and defensive battles and win within the stipulated 80 seconds of each game.

Hado Athletics will be the performance programme of the International Intelligent Sports Congress, and six domestic teams will be invited to participate in the competition.
