To implement the national software development strategy, “‘The 14th Five-Year Plan’ for Software and Information Technology Service Industry” and the Action Plan for Industrial Internet Innovation and Development (2021-2023) by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and continuously promote the project of cultivating one million industrial APPs, the “2022China (Tianjin) Industrial APP Innovation and Application Competition” (hereinafter referred to as “the Competition”), co-organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Tianjin Municipal People's Government, will be officially launched during the 6th World Intelligence Congress.
As one of the important events of the World Intelligence Congress, the competition has been held for four consecutive sessions since 2018. It has become a competition with the longest history, largest scale and the most influence in the field of industrial technology software in China. The competition has brought together excellent industrial Internet APP solutions in various industries nationwide, gathered a number of leading enterprises in the industry, and assembled experts and resources from first-class universities and research institutes. It has developed into an important industry-university-research-enterprise exchange platform in the field of industrial technology software.
In 2022, the competition will focus on the key application fields of domestic industrial Internet APPs. With promoting the rapid development of industrial technology software as the main line, the contest set several innovation tracks and collect excellent solutions for industrial Internet APPs that are promotable, practical and can play a leading role in China, providing strong support for the integrated development of manufacturing industry.

With promoting the rapid development of industrial technology software as the main line, the competition set four innovation tracks including industrial APP to help the digital transformation of enterprises, industrial APP to help the development of dual carbon, industrial APPs to help information services, industrial APP design challenges, collecting excellent industrial Internet APPs that are promotable, practical and can play a leading role in China, providing strong support for the integrated development of manufacturing industry.

The competition invites top experts from domestic manufacturing enterprises, software enterprises, research institutes and universities to give advice for the high-quality development of Tianjin manufacturing industry, and also provide professional guidance for the competition to promote the application of conference results efficiently and precisely.
(3) Consolidate the Foundation to Attract Talents
The competition is specially set up “Industrial APP Design Challenge” for students of domestic universities to promote learning and teaching through the competition, stimulate the innovation vitality of universities, and explore the innovative talents of industrial technology and software.
